1. Building 4D caries simulation model which allows simultaneous control of 1) saliva flow and buffering capacity, 2) time intervals and quantity/quality of food/drinks, 3) 4D real-time functional imaging of biofilm/enamel structures (e.g. porosity/thickness) and dynamic site-specific quantification of H+/Ca2+ outflux/inflow using confocal fluorescent/non-linear microscopy, coupled with Nano-biosensors.
