Brief Description of Research
1. Cancer Research
2. Immunology
3. Molecular Medicine

The research focus of my laboratory is on the development of biological therapy approaches applicable to cancer immunotherapy. In recent several years, we have been working towards building platform technologies that support the development of novel immune cell- and stem cell-based therapeutics. Several new cellular therapeutics in the area of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) adoptive immunotherapy and with potential for use against a broad range of cancers are under testing currently.
